We started building Kukarella in 2019, first of all for ourselves. Then we noticed how much other people needed it, too. We have done almost no advertising. Instead, we build what our users ask for: nearly everything on the platform grew out of their feedback.

Our goal is to delight the people who use Kukarella, and through them, their audiences. Most of our users teach, and the people who really grade their work are their students. So we want you to make the dialogues and voiceovers your lesson needs in seconds, try different versions, choose from more than 2,000 voices or clone your own, translate your text into other languages with the built-in AI tools, and adapt your material for whatever comes next, saving time and effort every time.

When your students say "Wow, now we get it", when they hear the accents more clearly and understand the topic better, and we know it was made on our site, that is what makes us happy.

I started writing the articles on this site myself, and my wife, Anna, helped me with many of them. I am grateful to her for that. Today so much changes so fast that no one can keep up with all of it alone. I still want every article to be as useful to you as it can be, so I sometimes use AI for research and for first drafts.
